Locally guided treks in Nepal's Annapurna and Parbat region, plus hidden trails, yoga retreats and authentic village homestays.
Every guide and porter is from the trail region. They know these ridges, these villages, and these stories by heart — not from a manual.
We cap all treks at 10 trekkers. You'll feel the mountain, not the crowd. Quiet trails, genuine connections.
Plastic-free, locally sourced meals, and every rupee stays in the village. Trekking that gives back.
When you write to us, a real person replies. No call centres, no templates — just honest, warm conversation.
Discover Parbat is a small, locally run trekking company from Parbat district, just west of Pokhara in Nepal. We started in 2017 as a page sharing the hidden places of our home district, spent 2020 walking and mapping new trails with local guides, and became a full trekking company in 2022. Every trek we run is led by guides who grew up on these ridges and in these villages.
We are the team behind the Kokhe Danda Trek, a quiet homestay route to the highest point of Parbat, through the Magar villages of Lespar and Haljure. Beyond our home trail, we guide offbeat routes like the Khopra Ridge Trek facing Dhaulagiri and the remote Api Himal Base Camp Trek in Far-West Nepal, along with classic Annapurna treks such as Poon Hill, Mardi Himal and Annapurna Base Camp.
Our treks put village life and homestays first, with the mountain views as the reward. Groups stay small, meals are locally sourced, and the money you spend stays in the communities you walk through. If none of our routes fit your dates, we can plan a custom trek around you.

Classic Himalayan circuit over Thorong La
Rhododendrons blanketing the ridges in crimson and pink, crisp skies, and the clearest mountain views of the year. April is our most beloved month on the trail.
Post-monsoon air brings razor-sharp visibility and golden light on the peaks. Dry trails, warm days, and cool starlit nights — the classic Nepal trekking window.
The trails come alive with roaring waterfalls, thick jungle greenery, and wildflowers you won't see any other time of year. Fewer trekkers, dramatic skies, and an intimacy with the forest that peak season simply can't offer. Best suited for experienced trekkers who don't mind wet boots.
December is one of our best-kept secrets. The crowds are gone, the air is crystal clear, and snow-dusted ridges make for extraordinary views. A quieter, more personal kind of trekking experience — and often our guides' personal favourite.

Amazing two-week trek in the Annapurna region! Our guide, Sameer, was outstanding, super friendly, great at time management, and incredibly knowledgeable. Since he was born in the area, he knows the region inside out.
The route he took us on was free of any other tourists, we literally didn't come across anyone, it was incredible. If you are even considering it, just book, you won't be disappointed. Best holiday we have ever been on!
We did the 5-day Kokhe Danda Trek with Sameer and absolutely loved it. We enjoyed the mixture of culture, beautiful walks, and amazing views. Sameer took great care of us and shared his rich knowledge about the religion, culture, and geography of the region.
